IASTM stands for Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization. This improves tissue and fascia mobility, diminish adhesions, promote healing and improved blood supply, and decrease edema.
Cupping can be used by our therapists in the overall rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions with the goal of improved mobility, stability, and movement patterns of the body.
Physical therapists use various methods of Kinesio taping to apply tension to the skin and muscle. Kinesio tape takes the stress off the joints by creating a rubber-band effect that modifies movement while supporting muscles and tendons.
